I spent the last week in June visiting my parent’s new home in Gruene, TX (it’s in between Austin and San Antonio). All kinds of family and friends came and went through the week, and I had just the kind of relaxing, spirit-lifting vacation that makes me wonder why I have to work most of the year. My nephew Sam has really become a partner in crime for me, so you’ll see lots of shots of him. The baby girl, Sophie, is equally as cool--but I am still uncomfortable with babies. I did hold her once, and she didn’t break. Anyway, there aren’t many shots of her--hopefully this will not lead her to a life of inferior feelings, drugs, and cocaine.
